The Jeffree Star Mini-Breaker palette

The palette
Hi mini palette, how are ya?
This palette is the first mini palette that Jeffree Star Cosmetics released. The palette consists of 9 shades: 5 with a matte finish, 1 with a matte finish with glitter in it, 1 duo-chrome shade and 2 with a metallic finish. The palette has a nice weight to it and is a good size for travelling. The palette also has a mirror.
The Mini-Breaker is 11,7cm x 11,7cm x 1,5cm and retails for 29€ on Beauty Bay. Every shade contains 1,50g of product. Beauty Bay has something called tribe. This is something you can earn points with and if you earned enough points, you can exchange these points for products or discounts. I earned my Mini-Breaker with tribe. If you're not familiar with it and you shop on Beauty Bay, you should definitely check this out!!!

Swatches
The palette consists of 9 shades:
Double Scoop, which is a terracotta nude with a matte finish.
Orange Crush, which is a matte orange with gold glitters in it.
Foreplay, which is a pinky purple shade with a matte finish.
Oral, which is a duo chrome with lilac reflects. This is my personal favourite shade.
Purple Punch, which is a bright purple with a matte finish.
Slice, which is an orangey yellow with a metallic finish.
Bubble Gum, which is a matte pink shade.
Bite Me, which is a deep, rich purple with a metallic finish.
Hot Fudge, which is a dark cool-toned brown with a matte finish. This leans more to the grey side.
The shades 'Bubble Gum' and 'Bite Me' are also in the big Jawbreaker palette. All the other shades are new!

A look
This is a look I created with this palette. I really like yellow eyeshadow on me and all tough there are not a lot of yellows in this palette, I really like the outcome. In the crease I used 'Double Scoop'. I also used this on the lid. It blended nicely, but had some kick up in the pan. I used 'Slice' for the shimmer on the eyelid and as an inner corner highlight. I used this shade with my finger, as I think that works best for metallic shades. With 'Slice' I had some fall out under my eye. To deepen my outer corner, I used 'Hot Fudge'. As highlighter on my cheekbones and brow bone I used Becca's 'Opal'. In my upper waterline I used the Aqua XL eye pencil from Make Up For Ever to make my lashes look fuller.
Overall I really enjoy this palette. It has more matte shades dan metallics and I really enjoy that in a palette. I really like only matte eyeshadow looks. On the other hand, this palette has no nude shade to set the eyelid with. I like to do this to better blend my eyeshadow together, but I actually had no problem to blend my eyeshadows on the wet base (I use concealer as an eyeshadow base). The palette had some fall out on the eye and some kick up in the pan, I guess this is nothing bad for a pressed pigment palette. I don't mind a little bit of fall out or kick up in the pan. If you like purples and/or yellows, a great quality palette and you think the Jawbreaker palette is too big for you, I would definitely check this palette out!
