Ofra Cosmetics Galaxy signature palette

                                                                                                                                            The palette

The Ofra Cosmetics signature palette in 'Galaxy' is a palette with 5 shades, who have all purple in them. The palette consists of One matte shade, one metallic shade, one satin shade, a duo-chrome shade and a highlighter.

This is a travel-size friendly palette because of the slim packaging and the rather small size of the palette. The palette is 15 cm x 5,5 cm x 1,5 cm. The palette retails for 30€ on Beauty Bay, where I purchased mine. Every shade has 2,00g of product.

Swatches

The palette consists of five shades:

Orion, which is a deeper purple with a bleu metallic shift. The metallic shift is rather absent.

Eclipse, which is a true violet with a matte finish.

Neptune, which is an icy lavender highlight in the beautiful highlighter formula of Ofra.

Stellar, which is a pink/lilac shade in a satin finish.

Milky Way, which is a duo-chrome pink-lavender and which is my personal favourite shade of the palette.

A look

This is a look I created with all the shades of the palette. I used 'Milky Way' as an inner corner highlight, 'Neptune' as the shimmer all over the eyelid, 'Stellar' and 'Eclipse' in the crease and Orion in the outer corner. In my waterline I'm wearing an Colourpop cosmetics Lippie Pencil in the shade 'Alt'. My highlighter is 'Double Gleam' from MAC Cosmetics.

Personally I would've liked to have more mattes in the palette. I missed a nude matte shade to set my eyeshadow base. This is something that I always do to better blend shades together. On the other hand, I was very surprised with the shade 'Milky Way'. It is such a beautiful duo-chrome. I expected it to be a pearly white highlight shade, but when I picked it up with my finger, it had a beautiful purple/pink shift. For this eyeshadowshade alone, I would've purchased the palette.

The shades are buildable. It hasn't got a whole lot of color pay off the first time you apply it, but it is buildable. I also had no issues with fall out under my eye. On the other had, I did notice some kick up in the pan after using the shade 'Stellar', but nothing major.

Overall I really like this palette. It was a little bit smaller than I expected when it arrived but I think this is a really good palette for travelling as it has a mirror inside, which is a plus for me. If You really like purples (like me😜) I would really go for this palette!
