A look

For this look I tried to use as many shades as possible. I only used brushes to apply my eyeshadow. First I setted my eyeshadow base with the shade 'Breakaway'. In my crease I used the shades 'Weekender', 'Still Shot' and 'Riff'. In my outer corner I used the shades 'Good As Gone', 'Punk' and 'Jet' to deepen my outer corner.

Next I cut my crease with my eyeshadow base. To set this base, I used the shades 'Stranded', 'Big Sky' and Wanderlust' applying the shades respectively from the inner corner outwards. After that I blended these shades with my outer corner by applying 'Good As Gone', 'Punk' an 'Jet'. As the inner corner highlighter and brow bone highlighter I used the shade 'Blaze'.

On my lower lashline I used the shades 'Hell Ride' on the outer corner and blended this towards the inner corner with the shade 'Wildheart'. To blend these shades in with the shades on the lid, I used the shades 'Good As Gone', 'Punk' an 'Jet' on the outer part of my lower lashline.

For my eyeliner I used the Stila Stay All Day waterproof liquid eyeliner. My mascara is the Lash Sensational mascara from Maybelline. As eyeshadowprimer I used 'I <3 intensifying colour eyeshadow base' from Essence.

My experience with the product

A benefit of the palette, for me, is that it has a mirror. The palette is sturdy and will survive a trip. Also, the colours are very pretty in my opinion. It screams summer to me. You have everything you need. You can create a colourful bold look but also a neutral nude look. Also, a smokey eye is a possibility. This makes this palette really good for travelling. You have everything you need in one palette, it's sturdy and has a mirror.

I also really like the outside packaging of the palette as you can see on the first picture of this page. It's covered in pictures of vacations, which make me want to go on vacation.

The shades are pigmented and blendable. Some shades have more fall out than other shades, the mattes more than the shimmers. I don't really mind fall out. The shade 'Jet' was a little bit harder to work with. It wasn't as pigmented as the other shades I used. Overall I think it's a really pretty palette. I don't really know why I'm drawn to this palette and these colours, but I really am.
